The R3-PowerUP project aims to build a 300mm new-generation pilot line for Smart Power in Europe. This will enable the European industry to establish a world-class reference to innovative and competitive solutions to critical societal challenges such as reducing CO2 emissions and energy saving (Ref COP21 Agreement), and creating a sustainable environment through mobility and energy efficiency industries. For Romania this project will be implemented by UPB-CSSNT. R3-PowerUp undertakes to meet the following objectives: • To develop and demonstrate a new 300 mm advanced manufacturing facility for a multi-KETs pilot line (nanoelectronics, nanotechnology, Advanced Manufacturing) Future details can be obtained from: Center for surface science and nanotechnology Project director: Prof. Dr.rer.nat.
